Celebrity Style on Trial: Peaches Geldof’s animal print dress

peaches geldof in an animal print dress

The words “animal print dress” are normally enough to strike fear into the hearts of The Fashion Police officers… and, actually, so are the words “Peaches Geldof”, now we come to think of it, but that’s a whole other post.

Peaches wore this dress to the  the Human Rights Campaign in Los Angeles at the weekend, though, and we actually find ourselves liking it a lot more than the words “Peaches Geldof in an animal print dress” would have suggested to us – which is not the same thing as saying we LIKE it, just to be clear.

Do YOU like it, though? Or do you think pretty much ALL incidences of animal print on the red carpet should proceed directly to Fashion Police jail, without passing ‘Go’?

Ugh. The scroll down’s what’s bad. I love the top of it.

I’d like it if it wasn’t animal print.

I laughed then, because I misread it as ‘Animal Rights Campaign’. I thought it was a controversial choice….

the tops nice, the bottoms nice its just the peplum and tight hips i dont like. but the animal print isnt too loud and the colours do suit her. i would give her a caution

I hate all animal print. Ever. No matter what you do with it, it always looks trashy.

It’s difficult to tell, but I’m fairly certain that that’s not a very nice dress, anyway.

I don’t like animal prints, but what’s bad in my opinion on this dress is the cut, especially that thing around her waist.

I kind of liked her looks better when she had grey hair.

I don’t mind the animal print as much as I mind the actual styling of the dress; it looks more like a nightgown than a dress, and with that ruffle there it looks like it’s a seperate top and skirt, which is both weird and pointless!

Dress style, ok. Print: not as bad as Id thought. That ruffle thing around her waist? Should have been shredded and stuffed back in a hole.

i usually hate animal print but this is acceptable, the dress itself on the other hand is not althou i like the sleeves the r a bit little girlish and the ruffle with the tight hips makes her body look disproportionally long.
