BE&D ‘Big City’ sneakers: for stiletto fans who can’t wear heels

Sneakers with high heel print

Love skyscraper heels? Just can’t wear them without breaking an ankle? Don’t worry, help is at hand – or at foot, rather – in the form of these ‘Big City’ sneakers from BE&D. All the comfort of a sneaker, all the style of a cartoon stiletto: what more could you possibly ask for?

(Well, we guess you could ask for them to cost a bit less than $126, and have magic powers, but you can’t have everything, can you?)

Click here to buy them at Colette.

That’s a funny and cute idea! 🙂 But I agree with you, they could be at least a little bit cheaper…

I don’t like them, I don’t think they’d go with my dress pant sweats.

I don’t know what to think… a good idea, though!

These are truly ridiculous, the idea itself doesn`t make sense. Why would anyone want to wear stilettos with an outfit that normally goes with the sneakers and vice versa – just silly. What`s next…a canvas sack dress with a couture gown painted on it to combine the affordable casual comfort and expensive glamour??

I think that they’re actually really funny and cute.

On the other hand, I could do the same thing with a $20 dollar pair of sneakers and some sharpies.

I think they’re kinda quirky and sweet. I’d buy them if they weren’t so expensive. Not for the idea of looking like I’m wearing heels instead of sneakers, just because I think the pattern is cool. I wish they could invent some kind of heel that isn’t a heel (I know that doesn’t make sense) Two broken ankles and torn ligaments means I can’t wear heels anymore, or I have to wear low wedges.

Aww! Funny and pretty cute, though not something I think I would ever dream of wearing.
