Dress of the Day: ASOS organza hem dress

This dress is also available in black and purple, but we think the red colour shown here is the one we’d go for, if we were buying a dress like this. The cap sleeved bodice makes a refreshing change from all of the strapless and spaghetti-strap styles we tend to see at this time of year, but the short shirt and nipped-in waist stops it being too demure, and leaves you with a rather nice silhouette. It’s a simple little dress, but very cute, and you can buy it for £45 at ASOS.

I dunno FP. This looks like two different ideas stitched together.

It is pretty cute, but I’m sort of torn between “this looks like something a 5 year old would wear” and “that skirt is insanely short”. It’s a little too formal for casual wear, and a little to casual for formal wear! It just seems like it would be a waste of money.
