American Apparel’s nylon tricot high-waist leggings make you look naked from the waist down

american-apparel-nude-leggiYou know the best things about these American Apparel leggings? It’s not the fact that they’ll make you look like you’re naked from the waist down (assuming you have a similar skin tone to the leggings obviously: if not, you maybe won’t look naked, but you will look a little…odd): it’s the fact that your underwear will be clearly visible through them, as you can see from the image above.

Oh, and by “the best thing”, we mean “the worst thing”, obviously.

American Apparel, you did it again…

[Thanks to Katherine for the report!]

I don’t think there is a single redeeming quality in those leggings. Not one.

When the hell did everyone stop wearing PANTS? What happened to PANTS? Or even, god forbid, a SKIRT? WHY. WHY DO PEOPLE THINK LEGGINGS AND JUST LEGGINGS ARE A SUITABLE SUBSTITUTE FOR LEG COVER

Leggings should be advertised as leggings. This means putting them under something, like a skirt, a dress, or, god forbid, shorts. There’s a reason her underwear is showing: because that part of the body is not intended to been seen!

I can only imagine exhibitionists wearing those as shown. Then again, I don’t have a very high opinion of American Apparel to begin with.

That woman looks fine as she is and you poeple need a life , stop beeing so jalous just cause YOU cant pull off that look 😉

Too much time wasted watching stuff and reading stuff about fashion is a dangerous thing, as fashion is bullshit invented to sell new clothes every season when poeple obviously dont need that many, just because you havent been brought up by models to think that this look good, doesnt make it look bad. If you want to rant about something , rant about the stupid platform shoes , now THOSE are awefull, they were ugly in the 70s, are still ugly today and here’s a scoop, they will still be UGLY in the future!

Right, so let me get this straight: it’s NOT OK for us to say we don’t like these leggings, but it IS OK for you to rant on about platform shoes? So, the only person allowed an opinion about fashion is you, I guess? Got it. Could you perhaps let me know what else I am and am not allowed to think about clothes?
