Under Fashion Police Arrest: Alexander McQueen’s bare foot stilettos

Alexander_mcqueen_bare-foot

Please God, no.

These appeared as part of the Alexander McQueen Spring 2009 collection, which means that if they went into production they should be appearing in stores around about now.

The Fashion Police are monitoring the situation, obviously, but for now all we can really do is hope and pray that Mr McQueen decided NOT to try to actually sell these, because they freak us out more than any shoe has a right to. Will you join us in our prayers?

I’m sorry fashion police, my criminal side loves these! I think they’re hilarious! At least they look like a human foot and not some demonic creature’s.

I agree with gokarm! They’re definitely unusual, but I wouldn’t call them ugly. They would look cool with an eclectic outfit

Actually, I’m with Gokarm on this… I think I quite like them, they are interesting and funny and aren’t “in your face”.

At least they’ll be too expensive to be as prolific as Crocs or Uggs…

They look like they have already been worn out. Shoes that do that get thrown away.

What if your toes are not that size? I have enough trouble with my feet without having to worry about my toes, too.

I agree with bookmole. I reckon you’d get some serious blisters in those things.
And they just plain creep me out.

they’d make you look like you have multi-toned deformed feet!! gross. just as an example, would you wear a t-shirt with boobs on it?? it’s kind of similar in a way, just stlightly less weird. blech.

Ummm so the shoe is molded into those toes? I was sooo hoping that the shoe was just made out of some strange material… Upon 3rd look I need to know why those toes appear to be hanging OVER the sole of the shoe.

Ew. I think this is gross, and I’m not even one of those weird foot-phobic people.

I agree with Sophie. Plus, if you really want to show your toes, why don’t you use some beautiful peeptoe shoes? Or even sandals or flip-flops? But this…

Oh my…these look horribly uncomfortable, yes, but I’m glad that at least they didn’t decide to “paint” the “toenails”.

BTA – I am speaking for myself. Who did you think I was speaking for? Did you think The Fashion Police was a real police force or something?
People are allowed to have opinions, you know. You clearly have one opinion about these shoes, I have another. We’re both allowed to hold those opinions, but while I managed to express mine without trying to be rude to the people who DO like them, you didn’t manage that, which is why your other comment on this post has been deleted. Please try to express your differing opinion without the childish name-calling. Is it really so important to you that a complete stranger on the internet doesn’t like a particular pair of shoes?
