Screen Actors Guild Awards 2013

The cast of Modern Family at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2013

We hate to do this to you first thing on a Monday morning, but the life of a Fashion Police officer is a tough one, and last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards 2013 has left us with a whole lot of style suspects to process. As trainee officers we’re going to need you to take a look at the mugshots below and give us your verdict: who were the Style Stars and who were the Fashion Criminals at last night’s ceremony?

i liked Jaimie Alexander’s grecian-like dress and also Julia Stiles’ number.
Helen Hunt’s was elegant and Marion Cotillard’s interesting.
And please, someone should tell Amanda Seyfried that she’s now so thin that all the sweetness of her face has disappered.

Kinda miss not being able to comment on each picture individually, but it is a huge time saver. Morena Baccarin knocked my socks off.

The first photo (blonde in an orange dress) is the talented Ms.Jane Krakowski (pronounced Krakovski) Jane is an American actress and singer. You might recognise Jane from her role as Jenna Maroney on the sitcom 30 Rock. She has also performed in Ally McBeal, Law & Order SVU, Fatal Attraction, The Flintstones Viva Rock Vegas, Open Season and Open Season 2, A Muppet Christmas, Surfs Up, Alfie, Ice Age, and many many more.

    my top 3 include:
Jaimie Alexander’s peek-a-boo Marc Bouwe with the torso cut outs.
    Claire Danes’ one shouldered Givenchy.
    Kelly Osborne’s shapely Jenny Packham.
You wouldn’t have to be a glamazon to wear the last two and Claire Danes looks like she might be comfortable.

So many dresses, I shall keep restrain myself to the top 3 and the bottom 3. (In my humble opinion of course)

    The top 3:
Sophia Vergara, reminded me somehow of Sophia Loren in this stunning off the shoulder dress.
Amanda Seyfried’s navy gown is an architectural wonder.
Jamie Alexander’s black draped dress, although I would never think to wear such a thing the drapery is a work of art.
Honorable mentions: Ariel Winter and Julia Styles

Now for those who missed the mark rather more than most:
Julie Bowen, a leather gown?? not like that if you please
Gretchen Mol, a ten year old Dillard’s prom gown.
    Rose Byrne’s pastel restyled muumuu
Dishonorable mentions: Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway, and Julianne Moore

What is the point of this post? Say something. I saw these dresses posted everywhere. I don’t come here for the picture, I come here for your opinions.
