Models at the Chanel runway show spring 2013
Can you believe it's Haute Couture Fashion Week, already? We can't, and we're actually kinda horrified, because this means that REGULAR Fashion Week/Month isn't far away, and soon we'll be faced with so many photos of models strutting down runways it'll make our heads spin.
For now, however, we have these images from the Chanel runway show, which took place in the Grand Palais, Paris this week. We always look forward to the Chanel show, because it's famous, not just for the clothes themselves, but for the amazing staging, with each show more of an "spectacle" than a simple fashion show.

Wow. Old lady clothes. At least that’s what they make me think of – garden party anyone?
The makeup and hair doozies need to be filed under “modeling is hard” Ug-u-lee! I could imagine wearing the clothes inspired by this collection that actually get sold to regular folks, though.
The clothes didn’t register with me, I was so fascinated and put off by those wrinkly, loose lace tubes over the model’s legs.
