Irregular Choice's Red platforms shoes with hanging grapes by Dan Sullivan collection

There are shoes hiding under the fruit and flowers in these photos, we promise: would you want to wear them, though, that's the question?

These are just a small sampling of some of the styles available from Irregular Choice's Dan Sullivan collection. As many of you will know, Mr Sullivan is the founder and creative force behind Irregular Choice, so the fact that this collection is a little bit "out there" (to put it mildly) is no less than we'd expect from the brand which has brought us some of the strangest footwear ever to grace The Fashion Police's jail cells. Don't worry, though: not ALL of the shoes are covered in flora n' fruit. There's also this:

Dan Sullivan Visionary Viper

The Visionary Viper boot, complete with clear pouch containing a doll, a teddy bear and enough other small toys to keep your inner five-year-old more than happy.

Do these make YOU happy, though? If they do, you can buy them all here: don't click the link until you've told us what you think of them, though!

  • Seriously, who keeps letting these designers have free rein in the craft store?! This is getting ridiculous.

Hiding behind the foo is still a hideous shoe. With the foo, eye searing. Also, wouldn’t all that crap drag on the ground and be filthy within minutes? How is that attractive?

WOW crazy I actually like the second shoe! The shoe with like a doll stuffed in it and a whole lot of junk packed in a shoe wow something a kid would do!

I kind of adore these. They’re bizarre, I haven’t a clue what anybody would wear them with, but OH MAN, they are AWESOME. In a sort of chaotic way, like one of those really cheesybad movies with over-the-top bloodsplosions and people’s heads falling off and that sort of thing. It’s glorious, but utterly confusing.

I recommend Etsy to satisfy your desire for weird. Enjoy.

The fourth shoe has a very pretty pattern. If it had a different heel (meaning a proper heel in the first place…) and came without the fake grapes, I might consider buying it.

Regarding the boot with the toys on/in it:
    a) Oh, that poor doll! She looks terribly squashed in there and as if she can’t breathe.
    b) Isn’t that totally uncomfortable to wear? All that bulk from the toys must be pressing on your ankle while you walk. I wouldn’t want to have that.

Oh my! Those first shoes are amazing! I don’t feel the same about the rest though :/

Okay, I didn’t follow instructions and went and looked at their site before I wrote this. They are obviously trying to corner the market for those who think Betsy Johnson just isn’t quirky enough.

I usually really love (certain) Irregular Choice shoes, but these are a bit too much even for me. The doll is just plain creepy :/

Ok, shoe 1) those flowers would be soo uncomfortable scratching against your foot and it’s really over the top. Shoe 2) it looks like your shoes grew hair and you put it in ponytails, also uncomfortable rubbing against your foot. Shoe 3 and 4) you walked through a vineyard and some grapes got stuck in your shoe. Shoe 5) perfect if you were babysitting a 3 year old!!!! Otherwise, very immature. But it would be a cool thing to put on your shelf.
