When is a mini skirt not a mini skirt?

how short is too short

When is a mini skirt not a mini skirt?

When it's just a flimsy scrap of fabric, slung loosely around the hips, of course.

In fact, in that case, it's not even a SKIRT. Or an item of clothing for that matter. It is, however, most definitely a crime of fashion. And Rick Owens is a criminal mastermind, for his ability to persuade people to pay £155 to go out without their clothes on.

Well, a lot of young people go around half-naked today anyway, so I guess this is just fitting with the times. But other than that, I guess you could use it as a swimsuit skirt, if you’re really confident.

Or you could pair it with the not-blouse and go about in scraps of fabric like the victim of some horrible attack…..

No need to pay 155 quid – just take a man’s old shirt, use the band with the buttonholes as the waisband, cut away as much fabric as you want, as unevenly as possible. You just have to sew on one single button and there you are!
