Fashion Police at the 2012 Golden Globes: Michelle Williams in Jason Wu

Michelle Williams in Jason Wu at the 2012 Golden Globes

She may have picked up the Best Actress award for her performance in My Week With Marilyn, but, of course, it's her performance on the red carpet that's of concern to The Fashion Police, and what we want to know is whether Michelle Williams was worthy of the Best Dressed award at last night's Golden Globes?

Michelle wore a black and navy dress by Jason Wu, with a high neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. What did you think of it?

  • I don’t hatehate it, but it’s just so… boring? It’s very understated for such a big event, especially if you end up going on stage to pick up an award. She never goes ‘big’, but it could’ve been more, like that stunning yellow number she wore a few years ago when she hit the red carpet with Heith Ledger.

PS: I really love Claire Danes’ dress!

This is awful, way too matronly for her. One of the worst dressed at the event.

This has also been on best and worst lists. Maybe if she ditched the hairband and wore some statement necklace instead?

I kind of liked it, but it wasn’t a Golden Globes kind of dress. I love the hairband it suits her well…
