At a time when only the "edgy" are deemed acceptable in the fashion world, and to be "unexpected" is, like, the most important thing EVER, Taylor Swift often finds herself facing the charge of "always looking the same". Poor Taylor. We actually feel quite sorry for her, to be honest. Perhaps we're really unusual in this respect, but we don't know many people in real life who dramatically "switch up" (Oh, how we hate that expression!) their style, and wear something radically different every day - most people just work out what they like/what suits them, and then go with it - so we're not really sure why celebrities are expected to be, well, unexpected all the time. But we digress.
This week, Taylor made a token attempt to look a little bit different at the Billboard Women in Music luncheon this week, and rather than turning up in a princessy dress and curls, she turned up in a princessy dress without curls. And with a fringe/bangs too.
Now, we think she looks fabulous here, but we really struggle to care about the whole MUST! BE! EDGY! AT! ALL! COSTS! thing, so you tell us: what do you think of Taylor's new(ish) look? Do you love it? Hate it? Feel completely and utterly indifferent to it? Tell us in the comments...

I like it, but I didn’t have any issues with her previous hairstyle either! I don’t agree that she has to be different all the time. The same thing happens on reality shows such as X Factor…..always this pressure to be different rather than finding what you are good at/what suits you and sticking to it, and being successful with it! People should just be allowed to be themselves.

Think she looks gorgeous (so in love with that dress!) but agree with the whole ‘edgy/different’ thing – I think it’s far more important to find a look that works for you and then just keep it current rather than looking completely different all the time!

It’s not as terrible as some of the other cuts out there but I used to love her old hair
Between the long bangs and her natural “squintiness” it’s hard to tell if she even has eyes

I don’t think she needs to change her haircut. Both curls and bangs suit her. However the thing that annoys about Taylor is her constant princess dresses( fluffy,tulle dresses),she’s always wearing the same thing. I just find it boring. Anyway if she likes them i guess she should wear them

I don’t *love* the hair, but I am over the moon about her dress. I dunno, Taylor Swift could probably do almost anything and just look adorable.
I adore her outfit but I don’t like her hair! It looks good in this picture but in others it doesn’t look so great. I love Taylor with curly hair! It’s one of the many things that makes her, her. Back to natural!
