It's been a bit of a boring week for celebrity fashion. God, we hate it when the suspects behave themselves!
One of the few outfits to jump out at us as we took a look at the rogue's gallery this morning was this long silver dress, worn by Rachel McAdams to the premiere of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. It's what we think of as a "Statuette" dress, in that wearers of this particular style - metallic colour, shiny fabric, long train - invariably end up looking like an Oscar statuette, or some other award.
Does Rachel DESERVE an award for this dress, though? We think we know what you're going to say, but we're going to invite you to say it anyway...

The only thing I don’t like about it is that, viewed from the front, the back detail makes her look wider than she actually is. Other than that, I think it’s stunning!
Probably something that worked better in person than on camera because of the back thing making her look wide from the front.
I like the dress, my problem is that the fabric seems like it’s old the the glitter faded away.

Beautiful, enchanting, a flawless and sterling appearance! Quite decent of her to show up looking so gorgeous when in the actual film hers is such a minor role.

I think she looks gorgeous. But I’ve always been a fan of silver and the statuesque look. I just wish I looked good in silver.
I love the whole thing – the fabric, shape and colour. Think she looks stunning!
