Killing An Angel: Kelly Rowland at the X-Factor Press Launch

Yesterday we spoke about how every time someone wears huge, chunky boots on the red carpet, an angel dies.

Folks, we think Kelly Rowland just killed an angel.

Don’t get us wrong: we love the Giuseppe Zanotti wedge ankle boots. Actually, that deserves capital letters: we LOVE them. And we also really like the dress:

We just don’t love the two together. What about you?

TFP struggle to find the X-Factor interesting at the best of times, and without Cheryl Cole and Danni Minogue’s outfits to oggle, we’ll probably struggle even more this year. We did rather like the dress Tulisa Contostavlos wore to the launch, though:

  1. the boots really make this dress pop. i like the streamline of both pieces. it’s artsy, but not gaga-esque. I’m going to have to give this outfit a thumbs up. If you’re gonna wear boots on the red carpet, those would be the ones.

  2. Love that pocket dress on Tulisa, amazing on her figure. As for Kelly, this is just too much – the boots, the cuff – a major overkill.

  3. I like Tulisa’s dress (even if I have no clue who she is) but I dislike her shoes. Mary Janes are inherently childish and that dress is so sophisticated it needs grown up shoes to match.
