Alexander Wang and The Fashion Police haven’t always been the best of friends, but we must admit, with this bag, he’s managed to create an interesting shape without taking it too far into the realms of fashion-victim.
This is the small Emile tote, which makes us wonder what the large Emile tote must look like (Actually, we don’t have to wonder. You can buy it at Shopbop, and it doesn’t actually look much different from this one, despite being $100 more expensive). We like the straightforward shape, the metal feel and the solid feel of this bag, and we also like the fact that it’s available in a selection of colours. (Our favourite is the cream version shown above, which will go with everything).
We only have one quibble with this bag, and unfortunately it’s a big one. The price. Yes, this is $895 at Shopbop. Ouch. High street version soon, please?

I agree; the shape is quite interesting and I bet you could get a lot of attention with a bag like that.
