Lea Michele and the coat of many colours

FP 7212133 Glee AAR 08 42 2 Lea Michele and the coat of many colours

This photo was actually taken on the set of Glee (or in Times Square whilst filming Glee, rather) so Lea Michele can be neither blamed nor praised for this outfit, as she’s wearing it as part of the day job, rather than through choice.

We kind of wish we could be paid to wear multicoloured coats whilst dancing in Times Square now, don’t you?

Take a look under the jump to see what Lea’s cast mates are wearing…

  1. I absolutely love Glee and I really like how all the characters have very distinct style that suit them perfectly! :) And they’re not at all sleazy, over-sexualized get ups you sometimes see on (supposedly)teenagers on some TV series (I’m looking at you GG’s Serena van der Woodsen with your jail-bait boobs all over the place!) Rachel Berry has taught me to love some animal print sweaters…

  2. That coat reminds me of that book “A Bad Case of Stripes”, and the cast looks like a bunch of over grown toddlers.

  3. Not a big fan of Lea’s coat. It would be adorable on a five year old, but doesn’t suit a woman past puberty.

The real stand out here is Dianna Agron (Quinn)’s new hair! You can’t really tell from this photo but in others you can see it’s now a bit above shoulder length and pin straight. So very chic! When I saw it I actually considered for half a minute cutting my hair in a similar style. Then I remembered that I do not have Dianna’s gorgeous cheekbones.

    • I think you have a good point. Bright colors are inherently youthful. Wearing them with other youthful pieces like bright colored tights definitely makes her look like a large toddler. I think with a more adult outfit that coat could be really cute.
