Given the theme of this year’s MET Costume Institute Gala (“Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty), not many celebrities actually WORE Alexander McQueen. Sarah Jessica Parker was one of those who did, and this dress is from the 2005 Fall collection. It’s not one of our favourite looks on her, but we do appreciate the fact that she’s playing an imaginary accordion in this photo. Not enough celebrities do that these days.
I think it’s beautiful, but the color washes her out a bit.
I like the dress very much, I’m just not sure I like it on her. It makes her look a bit old.

I saw a lot of long sleeved embellished colors in neutral colors. This was my least favorite of the bunch.
the shape of the detailing around the crotch looks like a high rise thong! AH! I really hate the shoes (from what I can see of them), but overall I don’t think it’s terrible. But it’s not great either.
Oh my god, that dress! I want one! I want one! I’ll sacrifice stuff!
