Cheryl Cole has feet snatched at X Factor US auditions

Cheryl Cole is currently in LA to start her new job on the X Factor US judging panel, and as you can see, things haven’t exactly got off to a great start for poor Cheryl, who had her feet snatched at the first round off auditions: ouch!

Cheryl was also attacked by the ongoing colour-blocking trend. It was obviously an, er, hair-raising experience for her. (Sorry.)

As regular readers will known, The Foot Snatcher is one of The Fashion Police’s arch enemies. We’ve been after this dastadly villain for a while now, although lately our detective work has been greatly hampered as we believe the Foot Snatcher is being harboured by the fashion community, and even by some of our own readers, who believe him to be innocent of all charges.

The Foot Snatcher divides opinions: what’s yours? (And what do you think of the rest of Cheryl Cole’s look here?)

  1. Her makeup and hair is gorgeous!

Honestly I’m not a huge fan of colour blocking but she seems to have done it well…other than the lack of feet.

  2. Not fan of colorblocking either, but beside that – what’s the point of wearing designer shoes (I’m sure she does) when they’re hidden under the pants?

  3. I don’t mind color-blocking, but this is just awful! The 70′s clothes, the lack of feet, and – oh my god – that hair! Did she get it done at a mall in Jersey or something?

  4. Hmmm, I do usually like colour blocking but this outfit just doesn’t seem to work. I have no problems with The Foot Snatcher (I might even have enjoyed having my own feet snatched in the past) but the trousers generally look like they fit badly – something’s wrong with the pockets at the front and the wrinkles over the bum and knees. And don’t even start me on the hair…

  5. I like the outfit, but it seems too young for her. The hair and makeup just make me think of the 80′s. I don’t hate it in theory, but none of it is a good look for her. And where the heck are her feet?

  6. I don’t mind colorblocking too much, but I find this outfit hideous. And that aside, this foot-hiding nonsense is getting out of hand. For some reason, I feel like she’s hiding hooves or something under her pants legs.

  7. Maybe if the colours didn’t clash so horrifically, her shirt didn’t look like an abused oyster, and her eyeliner wasn’t so thick. As for foot snatching..as a short person, I understand that sometimes, pants are just to long. However, I hate stepping on the ends of my pants. It’s not my bag, but it’s not a big deal to me.

  8. You know what? The colours are suspiciously like those worn by Kochi Tusker, an IPL franchisee, which are painful to the eyes. Urgh.

    No. Just no.

  9. I love the colours – the hair is very “I’m in America”, which… well, I guess she is. The feet though? Makes me lose confidence in the whole look. If she didn’t know not to hide her feet, did she know what she was doing at all when she picked that outfit?

  10. I strongly dislink the foot-snatcher. I just don’t think it ever looks good, even just a peek of shoe is better. Yes yes, some of us are short and many pants are too long… but I’m only 5.1, and I manage by hemming my pants.

    • Yeah, I’m short too, but it doesn’t mean you have to wear clothes that don’t fit properly. I just either have them hemmed, or buy something else if there’s no way to make them fit. The no-feet look just doesn’t appeal!

  11. Am I the only one who actually likes what Cheryl is wearing? But maybe if she didn’t have such long trousers, so we could actually see her shoes…
