You know those days when it’s absolutely pouring with rain, and you want to be really sure that only the front of your body stays dry, while your back remains exposed to the elements?
No, we don’t know those days either. Which is why we won’t be paying £60 for this Marios hooded scarf. Will you?

We’ve often mentioned that we don’t like dropped crotch pants because they make it look as though you could be wearing a diaper. Well Sass and Bide have cut out the middle man and put the ‘diaper’ feature on the outside of these pants, just to let everyone know that that, in fact, is the reason for the excess fabric around your hip and crotch area.
What do you think though? Do you want your pants complete with this kind of attachment? Would you pay £475 for the privilege? If you would, you can buy these at Net-a-Porter but be quick: they’re sold out in some sizes already!

At first glance we assumed these had to be “art” shoes – i.e. a pair of those utterly bizarre, but quite brilliant creations we stumble across from time to time, which LOOK like shoes, but which aren’t actually supposed to be worn.
They’re not.
They’re real shoes.
£595 worth of real shoes.
Our flabbers are ghasted.

The Fashion Police feel that now might just be the time to lay down the law where crochet is concerned. Crochet has earned its place in the fashion hall of fame. It is integral to the 70s-inspired trends that are taking off this summer. This does not give it the right to set up shop as the alterna-sheer, flashing crotch, nipple or any other inappropriate body part under the pretence of high fashion.
And call us old fashioned, but for £109 we expect at least a shred of dignity to remain in tact!
