The make-up is definitely a preference thing. I think it looks awesome, especially with the orangey blush. I agree with Emily, it’s very 1920s silent film star.
I didn’t like this on Emily at first, but the more I look at the picture I’m loving it. The dress is pretty and I love the extreme it creates against the dark makeup. The shoes are nice with the outfit too, and perhaps a nude pointed-toe slingback would’ve worked as well in keeping with the vintage vibe

Whatever (1920s inspired)look she was going for, it’s ruined completely by her peep-toe pumps.
I HATED her makeup. Im always up for dark makeup, but it just didn’t work on her, it made her look ugly. The dress and shoes are nice tho.
