But for the rest of the year? And for $200? That would be a “no” from us. Apparently it was a “yes” from everyone else, though, because these are already sold out at Colette.

The “fifties housewife” look is the height of fashion right now, readers, and what better way to get the look than with this Tsumori Chisato skirt, which comes complete with a pair of oven gloves hanging from the waistband!
At least, we think they’re oven gloves. They could also be floral ovaries, although obviously that would be even stranger.

Now you know that the Fashion Police dislike a peep toe boot at the best of times, but this example is particularly ugly and breaks all sorts of fashion rules. They are canvas, they are flat, and that is not so much a peep toe as a ‘completely cut off and foot in danger of sliding out of the end’ toe. And making it mid calf height? Jil Sander (for it is she who designed this boot fail) you know that mid calf boots are hard to pull off at the best of times unless you have the legs of Kate Moss, but making them flat as well? That was just asking for trouble!

Oh, for Gaga’s sake! Marble wash shorts with sheer tights? Really? We’re going to do that? Because we can’t imagine anything worse than that, really.
