The steampunk look has been popping up all over the place recently, but this is unequivocally the first time that it has popped up on The Fashion Police’s shoes! Available in burgundy, black or ice patent, the Effie pumps from High Street Junkie certainly provide a talking point…

  1. LoveloveloveLOVE.
    Oh man. I need these.
I need them in black and I need them now.

Admittedly, I wish the actual shoe was a bit more expensive looking, especially considering the price. But it looks like all the money went into making that heel and that’s what I’m buying them for.

  2. What a mess! NAY! I’d call these the “handicapped shoes” with a metal prosthetic heel. They make an impression of poor shoemaking rather than being interesting and original.

  3. I’d disagree with these being called steampunk shoes, they’re really just standard platform stilettoes that someone’s stuck a few bits of metal and some cogs onto. The shoes and boots worn by people who are into dressing steampunk look absolutely nothing like this. Thumbs down from me.
