Helena is always true to herself and never marches to anybody else’s band and it is what I love about her. She never fails to surprise and amuse me with her playful quirkiness. She looks georgeous.
I love that about her too.
She can wear some outrageous outfits but this is classy enough for the Academy Awards while still feeling like her.

Um, NO. How is it that she constantly looks drunk on the red carpet?
One thing I hate about her looks is the ’80-s hair, especially the fringe. Just don’t get her “quirkiness”, looks just God-awful. Sorry
Sandra, the whole thing about her is that she doesn’t CARE if everyone else thinks she looks awful.

Trix, well, she should care, otherwise she should do another job. However, I don’t require that she cares, just saying she’s always borderline embarrassing on the red carpet.
Sandra, I don’t see why she should care. She’s an actress, her job is to act, and she does it very well. Of course, part of her job are public appearances, but she has no obligation to wear things we like. Especially since she’s not a starlet or one of those people who are always in the public eye, yet no one knows what they actually do (read: the Kardashians). I think HBC’s career has earned her the right to wear whatever the hell she likes.
She marches to the beat of her own drum and you have to respect her for that. She’s one of the few actresses who can carry this off because it is so much a part of who she is.
I love this woman so much that it doesn’t really matter what she wears. She’s such an amazing actress.
HBC always looks like she just came from the movie set of Sweeney Todd, Harry Potter and her latest movie- Alice in Wonderland. Love her as an actress but will somebody give this beautiful lady a makeover. We want to see that pretty face pop-out and not overwhelmed by fugly stuff.

If you’re somebody who hates the way she looks/dresses, just think how disappointed we’d all be if she turned up dressed ‘normally’.
I think that if SHE doesn’t feel embarrased, we shouldn’t feel embarrased for her.
I think her outfit is lovely. I’m unsure what that thing on her leg is, but HBC made a career out of the weird and strange. It’s a part of the package. In a way, she is advertising herself.
It looks like she’s wearing loose shoes a size or two too big. I’ve noticed the same thing on other models and celebs. Is that because they get loaned shoes to go with the designer dress from a big bin of miscellaneous Choos and Louboutins, and they pick more by style and colour than comfort, OR, is it on purpose and a little-known secret that loose, heeled shoes are more comfortable even though they’re loose? Do they use (red) carpet tape to keep them on while strutting on the red carpet? I confess that all the fancy spike heel shoes I’ve worn have been ones that “fit” my feet and while they stay securely on my feet when walking, it also seems that they do start hurting somewhere within a couple of hours. God it’s tough being a supermodel! : )
The odd thing here is that it looks like the umm.. pouch has been revealed by accident. Sort of like “What? I’ve got to put my iPhone somewhere.”
As for the dress very HBC, suits her quite nicely.
This is probably my favorite outfit she’s ever worn. Absolutely awesome!
