Sometimes the clue is in the title. Patchwork + high rise + skinny has got to = disaster, right?
Back in 70s Britain there was a comedy show called The Good Life, on which Tom and Barbara struggled to live a sustainable lifestyle out of their own back garden. In one particularly memorable episode, Barbara decides to upcycle a couple of pairs of worn-through work trousers by patchworking bits of different trousers together…
Can you see where we’re going with this?
Sustainability aside, the Fashion Police are of the opinion that patchwork should be restricted to those under 4 years old. On toddlers it’s cute – everyone else should leave well enough alone.
But perhaps you disagree? If so, you can grab yourself a sturdy new pair of See by Chloe trousers for just £235, available from Net-a-Porter.

You know all those times when you’re out shopping, and your head suddenly becomes unbearably cold? Wouldn’t it be great if you could just take your handbag and, you know, stick it on your head?
Well, you can, thanks to Azumi & David and the latest version of their famous Hat/Bag, which has a furry lining for extra warmth!
What do you mean, “what do you do with all the stuff from your bag when you decide to stick it on your head?” Don’t ask us difficult questions like that! Just sit back and admire… the hat bag!
(Or click here to buy it for £208)

We were thinking it was high time to change the uniform for our inmates in Fashion Police Jail, and we think we could have found the perfect item. What better punishment than making the fashion criminals look at one another in this garish print all day, every day? Mind you, that might be just too much for our prison guards to bear. Perhaps we should just arrest this for being an adult onesie and lock it away too?
Bail is set at £544 and you can pay for its release at ASOS.

And the prize for strangest use of Photoshop 2011 goes to…
Is it just us, or does that waist (or what there is of it) look like it can’t possibly belong to those legs? Or maybe that’s the point, actually: wear these gigantic, cartoon shorts, and at least your legs will look slimmer in comparison! You’ll be working out in the Fashion Police jail, of course, and all the other inmates will be laughing at you, but still: skinny legs!
Or perhaps you can think of another reason to wear these? If you can, they’re £107 and you can click here to buy them.
