Of late, The Fashion Police have been becoming increasingly concerned about the proliferation of what we call The Boob Window Dress – i.e. dresses which serve no other purpose other than to provide a “window” for the wearer’s breasts, leaving onlookers with the uncomfortable feeling that they’re at some really weird kind of zoo.
This dress, worn by The Event’s Taylor Cole, certainly allows us to get a good look at Taylor’s mammaries in their natural habitat, and we’re sure its presence here will generate at least one comment from a male reader telling us that “if you girls only knew how much we love it when you almost completely bare your breasts in public!” (Yeah, no kidding, we’d never have guessed…), but what do the rest of you think of it?
You’ll find some more images under the jump to help you make up your mind…
(Isn’t she gorgeous?)

If this were subtle at all, I could get behind it – it fits well and she looks pretty. As it is though, it is just so, “BOOBS! LOOK AT MY SHINY ORBS!” that it is just tacky. Maybe if the window were a little narrower and the sheer part a bit less sheer?
Exactly what I was going to say! Apart from the huge sheer panel, the dress is actually really cute. It just needs to be more subtle.
Agreed!
Maybe if her boobs weren’t white (fake suntan shortage?), the whole look would be more subtle. Or just with the gap a little more narrow. This, however, is just wrong.
The Boob Window garment was originally seen on those fashion plates, the Klingon women Lursa and B’etor. And it should STAY in the Star Trek universe, IMHO.
Yes! Exactly what I was thinking, even the rest of the dress would not have been out of place on a Klingon. K’Plah!
I think the Klingon version was more modest
It’s not about the dress, it’s her boobs what need an improvement: they are running in all different directions. If there was some sort of device that could hold these puppies together…
It doesn’t offend me, when I was young and pre children I had pert boobs and I had a gorgous silk french connection top that had a window / slash from the neck to just below the boobs. I did have the use of a wonderbra to keep them in check, but how I loved that top, so much attention! I still have it to remind me of the good old days! If you’ve got it flaunt it, she looks fab and let them hang out while gravity is still on your side!
I so agree! It could be a lot worse but she looks great! On someone less curvy the panel would be narrower.
No. I don’t get people who think that this looks good. Sure,it’s good to not be ashamed of your body, but flashing your rack about looks trashy and/or trying to hard to be edgy.
No one else thinks this makes her boobs look fake? I have no opinion on whether they are fake or not, but this looks more like she is wearing plastic breast plate (al a Khan) than a human woman showing her real breasts.
I really don’t like this look.
Sometimes you have to think long and hard on how you want to present yourself..
Men like me like this kind of clothing on women. My girlfriend wears that for me to see but she says she’d rather not leave the house in it.
As for Ms Cole … are they real or fake?
It is simply a wardrobe malfunction. The dress is so tight that the zipper on the back just wouldn’t go up and when it finally did….you know what they say – When the zipper closes a Window opens…
Is anyone else reminded of office christmas party bodypart photocopying incidents….?
It’s disturbing. Her boobs packed in this sheer fabric remind me of chicken thights in the supermarket. They’re so white.. and if you only look at the “window” without knowing it cleavage.. would you recognise it? I don’t think I would(
And parents want their daughters dressing like this?
