One of our biggest fashion gripes has always been the fact that not everything is available to everyone: i.e. some stores either only deliver within their own country, or offer international shipping, but at extortionate prices.
This year, though, things have been getting just a little better: we were thrilled to hear that ASOS.com has now launched a US version of its website (Prices in dollars, American terminology, shipping from within the US itself) with sites for France and Germany to follow soon.
There’s also good news for British shoppers: Forever 21 will open their first UK store in Birmingham next month, and will also launch a UK section of their website for the benefit of those of us who don’t live near the Bullring.
Obviously this isn’t great news for ALL of our readers, and we know (and sympathise) that many countries are still without access to some of our favourite brands, but it’s still a step in the right direction: maybe one day there’ll be equal access for everyone to great style! (Well, we can dream, can’t we?)
