The Fashion Police are hereby confiscating this case of Shoe Porn with immediate effect. We’ll be taking these Kurt Geiger ‘Corso Como’ pumps into our custody, so that no one can be corrupted by them. Well, no one except us, anyway. Well also take the black versions and the yellow versions, just to keep you all safe from temptation. It’s OK you don’t need to thank us, we’re just doing our job…
If, however, you feel you can be trusted to keep the shoes safe, and treat them with the respect they deserve, you can click here to buy them from Kurt Geiger, where they’re £290. Oh, if only they were just a little bit less expensive!
Well, folks, there’s no denying it any longer: winter is almost upon us, and its one saving grace as far as we’re concerned is that at least it gives us an excuse to buy some new outerwear. (And boots: let’s not forget the boots…)
This winter the aviator jacket is set to be dominate the outerwear section of our favourite stores, and we’re already seeing these start to appear on the high street. With their leather finish and snuggly sheepskin/fake fur lining, these jackets are super-warm, and have always been considered something of a fashion classic. What do you think of them, though? Will you be buying an aviator jacket this winter, or wearing an old one (they’re one of those items that seem to last forever, and never go out of style)?
Peluche, or “plush”: it’s that particular kind of fake fur that stuffed animals are made from. And which £300 sweaters are made from, too.
We can’t decide whether this is a great response to a freezing winter, or whether it’s just a great (if expensive) way to dress as a giant teddy for Halloween.
Oh, OK, we can decide. But we want to know what you think too, so what say you to the £300 teddy suit? Tell us!
Just a few days ago we put Topshop’s woodland print maxi dress up On Trial, and asked you what you thought of it, to a mixed response, although many of you seemed to agree that this was just a step too far towards the 70s.
We didn’t have to wait long to be able to answer the question, “Who would wear this?”, however, because here’s Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud rocking up to London Fashion Week in a very familiar dress. Does seeing the dress on someone change your opinion of it, readers? Or does it still have a whiff of the “what your mum might’ve worn in the 70s” about it?
Well, we don’t know about you, but we really hope the Pam Hogg models (including Alice Dellal, above) got a lot of money for walking in this show. We think they earned it.
