Jean-Charles de Castelbajac draws inspiration from South Park

Oh, that Jean-Charles de Castlebajac! What a jolly japester he is, to be sure! Last year, for instance, he was all about the muppets. This year? Well, this year he’s drawn inspiration from South Park, with a range of tops and dresses featuring Cartman, Kenny and co.

Now, we tend to view things like this in the same way we view any other kind of novelty clothing (the dress like a toddler trend, holiday sweaters, those Flintstones-themed pieces Jeremy Scott tried to sell us last year…), i.e. we’ll smile politely when you try to convince us how “wacky” and “zany” and downright “kuyuuute” it all is, but we’ll be secretly glad it wasn’t us who paid £270 for a dress covered in cartoon characters.

If, however, you love South Park enough to want to wear it as well as watch it, this collection is available at Colette: click here to see more of it, but don’t forget to come back and tell us what you thought!
