Fashion Police at the Video Music Awards 2010: Part 2

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga makes a point about being seen as a piece of meat. Or, you know, something.

As promised, here's part two of our VMA coverage, featuring the likes of Selena Gomez, Hayley Williams, and a selection of other people who made us say, "Who is that, anyway?" Thank goodness for Google, is all we can say...

  • lady gaga looks gross and unsanitary. she launched herself wearing skimpy outfits and singing about sex, now she wants to state women are not pieces of meat? i fail to see her point. the singers nowadays are a poor example for everybody, even beyonce, with her wonderful voice is almost naked and very sexual in all her videos. you have a great voice, stop showing off your crotch!
and who invited jenna jameson at the VMAs? afaik there is no “porn” section.
selena gomez looks cute, i like her best from this lot of pictures.

I totally agree with Maddy! And I find Lady Gaga one of the worst of all because she uses controversy whenever she feels like it, because that’s how she gets her attention. Her music, if we exclude her, sounds like any other pop music. That’s why she uses crazy outfits to stand out.

i thought her point was that since its socially acceptable wear real fur it should be okay to wear real meat too.

Was it actually real meat?! I assumed it was some sort of fabric or plastic stuff that just looked like it… Wouldn’t real meat start to rot too quickly? (After all there are very hot lights on stage) I wouldn’t allow it if I owned the hall where it took place.

The designer was quoted in the press that it was indeed made from real meat. Rabid Gaga fans surely want to eat this dress now after she has worn it.
