Roll on September: H&M and Zara to open online stores in the UK and Europe

Well, it’s been a long time coming, but this September two more of the stores we’ve wanted to shop online from for years now will finally open online stores.

Zara will open its online store on September 2nd, offering shipping to the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and Germany.

H&M, meanwhile, will extend its existing online shopping to the UK on September 15th, with subscribers to the company’s newsletter being given access from the 9th (sign up here).

As for those of you in the rest of the world, well, we’re afraid you’ll have to wait a little longer, but hopefully this is a small step towards global shipping for the brands in question!

Of the five stores we begged to open online stores way back in 2007, we’re pleased to note that only Primark continues to lag behind and force us to find a store in order to stop from them. Come on, Primark, whaddya say? Make our online shopping lifes complete?

I agree Ros, Ireland always seems to be forgotten about. It’s annoying because geographically we’re so close to the UK that it just seems silly!
