That Madonna has a lot to answer for. We never saw terry towelling sportswear worn outside the gym until Madonna started to be seen in Juicy Couture. And now that same brand have decided it is acceptable to sell jumpsuits in that awful fabric. Terry towelling camisole stuck to terry towelling jogging pants (complete with flattering drawstring) anyone? My-Wardrobe.com say ‘Luxe off-duty looks don’t get much more glamorous than this!’ We say ‘stuck-together crime of fashion’.

Duck boots are certainly a wardrobe staple. It’s just that they’re usually reserved for country weekends, camping or shoveling snow. The Fashion Police, then, have become suspicious of the fact that they’re suddenly considered so stylish. Lauded by the fashion press after his Fall 2010 fashion show, the Tommy Hilfiger Thigh High Duck Boot is already wait-listed and it’s not available until late August/early September. If you’re ready to jump in line, the boots are $498 and you can reserve a pair at Tommy Hilfiger.
