Not content with her shoe line alone, Jessica Simpson will launch her jeanswear line later this year, and provided a “sneak peak” of some of the designs at the New York showroom this week – although it’s actually kind of hard to tell from this “peak” what the finished products will be like, meaning we have to rely on the PR blurb, which tells us the jeans will be “iconic yet fashion forward; always accessible yet timeless.” All bases covered there, then… What do you think, then? Have you had your fill of celebrity “designed” fashion, or will you be racing to try this one out?
I get nervous when the words “jeans” and “fashion forward” get mixed together..however, if her jeans are cheap(under 30$), look good, and come in more than skinny, shredded,light wash messes, then certainly I’ll buy them. But judging from the way jeans are going, I find this depressingly unlikely.

Look like any usual merchandise I see around, and probably costs more. Nope, I’m not a buyer.
When my mother called a piece of clothing “timeless” it usually meant it was too dowdy/ugly ever to be in fashion, so for me that’s one minus point. A second comes from “fashion f***d”, a phrase I can’t even bring myself to write…
The fact that the ones she’s wearing seem to be way too long for her makes me think she hasn’t really grasped the notion of sizes. Or maybe I’m just not aware of current jeans trends.
Were her ‘mom jeans’ from her own line? To be perfectly honest, I dont trust in any advise she has about the topics of fashion, beauty, or hygiene.
She’s doing jeans again? I worked in a plus size clothing store a few years back and we had a limited run of her jeans. I will even admit to owning a pair. They were not cheap, and they are too long, at least for me, but they are comfortable. I’ll give her that much.
I personally will try these jeans. There is the only two options. Look like poo or look like an angel sent from hevan above. (not trying to force religon)
Depends on how much they are and if they look better than the ones she’s wearing. Personally, I would have cuffed or hemmed my pants if they were covering my feet.
