Chloe Sevigny can always be relied upon to pull something that little bit different out of the bag: in this case the (shopping) bag came from Proenza Schouler, who created this short, high-necked lace dress. This has a bit of a seventies vibe to it, courtesy of the neckline and colour, although the sheer lining (is that your bra we can see, Chloe?) taps into fashion's current obsession with all things sheer. We think a touch of colour on the lips could've helped this along, but what do you think of the overall look? You'll find some more images under the jump...

That’s a nice dress, pity the girl in it looks like a corpse because of her makeup
Pretty dress, but why-oh-why do people insist on showing off their bra straps? Is there some sort of bare backed clasp obsession going on that noone has informed me about?

make up and hair could do better – here she looks aged. love the dress on her, not sure the bra helps. any info on the shoes?
I think the shoes are Proenza too…I receognise the heel shape.

Am I the only person in the world who desn’t think the sun shines out of Chloe Sevigny rear end?! Surely not. She looks sort of unwashed in most pictures of her, this one included. Plus, I’ve never been one for following fashion rules or anything, but that bra needs to go. Please.

I’ve never understood her appeal either.
I actually can’t remember ever seeing her in an outfit I’ve liked, so no, it’s not just you!
This is pretty tame for Chloe, I’d say. I dislike the shoes, but her outfits usually give me a migraine, so this is not such a bad outcome.
ick!
I admire her so much. I just wish she’d stop wearing pink frosted lipstick.

She looks like a scary doll in that dress and make-up.
I actually thought she looked fantastic-love the dress, love the shoes-until I saw that big hole in the back. WTF? That’s just weird. The blue outlining doesn’t help.
I love everything about the dress, until you got to the cut-out-and-bra-clasp combo.
I hate everything about this look from head to toe. Makeup, shoes, dress, hair, bra and all.
