We hate spending a lot on practical items - only the truly pretty gets our hearts fluttering and wallets falling open. So sneakers are not high on our splurge list, even if they are Lanvin. Others must agree because these Lanvin Lace Up Satin Sneakers, originally $530 at Netaporter.com, are now down to $265 on their site. Interestingly, they also appear on Netaporter's outlet site TheOutnet at the same time for even less - $185. Even the retailers are confused about this price.

They look pretty similar to Simple sneakers, which can be had for about $50 US. So, definitely Daylight Robbery in my opinion. Though they *are* cute …
the “discount” price is still way to much dough. Why by fancy sneakers like that if you could by similar ones for 15 dollars?
