Ginnifer Goodwin almost always manages to look adorable (we particularly love her with short hair!), but we’re not sure we love this red lace dress of hers. The nude underlay helps create a “look, I’m wearing nothing but a flimsy piece of red lace!” effect, which probably had people doing double-takes all night, and we’re not loving the frill at the neckline, either. Not our favourite look, then, but we are fairly heavily biased against lace anyway, so what do you think?
The simple shape of this dress compensates for the multicoloured print, and although we don’t particularly like the dress, we do think Keira is managing to pull it off. What do you think?
Another award, this time for Amanda Seyfried, who wore this grey, flouncy dress to the ShoWest Final Night Talent Awards this weekend. We like the way the dress kinda matches the silver design on the statuette! Amanda has been scoring quite highly in the Fashion Police style stakes recently: what do you think of this look?
It’s fairly unusual to spot a celebrity out at a function in anything other than designer duds, so it’s always refreshing to see the rich and famous wear the kind of clothes that are accessible to us mere mortals, too.
Here’s Eva Longoria Parker, for example, at any event in California this weekend, wearing Karen Millen’s graphic stripe dress, £165. Looks like she went the designer route with the shoes, though…
Look! Vanessa Hudgens has won an award at the ShoWest Final Night Talent Awards! Would she win an award for style, too, though? We think she would, actually: this silver mini dress is cute, and really suits her. What do you think?
We didn’t recognise Katherine Heigl at first here: we’re so used to seeing her as a blonde that this brunette ‘do totally threw us off the scent!
Katherine was attending the WB Films ShoWest 2010 Luncheon in Las Vegas at the weekend, wearing a simple black dress with a pair of statement boots by Christian Louboutin. This is the second celebrity sighting of a pair of Louboutin’s new season mesh knee-highs (we showed you a slightly different style of these on Friday): they certainly seem to have found some degree of popularity in celebrity circles, although they’ve so far failed to win any favour with The Fashion Police.
What about you, though, readers? What do you think of Katherine Heigl’s boots?
Help! Help! These boots are melting! Someone call the fire brigade!
We usually have a lot of time for Martin Margiela’s footwear (no, really…), which is frequently quite stunning, but we must admit that the item above looks very much like a knee-length boot that spent too long in front of the fire and started to melt into a heap.
That’s without even mentioning the words “peep toe boots”. Or “cankles”.
We know someone out there is going to absolutely love these, though, so if that person is you, head over to Net-a-Porter, where they can be yours for the sum of £625 British pounds.
