We HAD thought light-up shoes were a strictly novelty value/children only kind of thing, but apparently we were wrong. Apparently heels that light up are now ALSO a $2,495 designer shoe kinda thing, too. Who knew?
These sandals are Jimmy Choo, and, like the light-up sneakers little kids wear, the soles and heels will light up every time you step on them. They didn’t find much favour with Shoeperwoman, but will they find favour with The Fashion Police readers? If they do, you can buy yourself a pair at Saks.
I do like the idea of light-up soles and heels (and yes I had those sneakers when I was a teen…), but I don’t like the styling of these. If the heel and sole lit up in the same colour (e.g. red), or it was only the heel, and the shoe itself was not a strappy cuffed sandal but a regular court shoe / pumps, I’d like it a lot better.
The way it is now it’s just too much.
As something to look at, they’re awesome. Cool colors, cool lines, fun retro appeal. As something to wear? NEVER.

Could be really fun for theme parties but not for that kind of money. The design of the shoe is nice though.
im sory but i LOVE them to death and they would be great for partys and going out but as previously said they would be a wast of mony since there arent many places to wear them
