  1. I’m so sick of clothes like this! Could someone please tell all those designers out there that ripped shirts, with the possibility of a wardrobe malfunction, definately isn’t ‘edgy’ or ‘unique’?

  2. Is it made from silk that’s been hand-spun, woven and dyed, then sewn by nuns who’ve taken a vow of silence? (The nuns probably wouldn’t allow those holes..) Because I can’t think of another way to justify that price. No one’s name is worth THAT much on a ripped t-shirt.

  3. So what you’re saying is that if I take some of my old clothes and cut holes into them, I can be rich? Boy, am I in the wrong career path.

  4. I am also horrified by the face that is on the shirt! But on the plus side, the shirt I was wearing yesterday with the bleach stains and holes in it was fashionable. Now I don’t need to go shopping for Spring clothes, I can dig through the back of my closet and wear all my lazy sick day clothes out in public!

    • Aargh – all I can see now is that face that looks like it’s in pain. Perhaps that’s why they’re asking so much for it – the nuns found it in an old clothes hamper after a moth attack and declared it a miracle, and people are buying it as the perfect outfit for Easter…

  5. As monica pointed out the shirt is SOLD OUT in three of the four sizes available. As always rich people have more money than sense.

  6. I love me some Balmain, but I get sick when I see their prices. $1,000 for a t-shirt? Really, Balmain? REALLY?

    It’s ridonkulous.

  7. This MUST be an April Fool’s joke. I cannot believe anyone would pay even one dollar for this…let alone it being SOLD OUT for over a thousand! I’d say this is a serious crime.
