The Hoodie Dress from Next: yes, it’s a hoodie stuck to a dress!

hoodie dress The Hoodie Dress from Next: yes, its a hoodie stuck to a dress!

I'd take off my hoodie, but... then I'd be naked

So, last week, some of you indicated that you were actually OK with the idea of a waistcoat stuck to a shirt. So we’re upping the ante. What do you think of the idea of a hoodie stuck to a dress, readers? Yes, you heard us: it’s a hoodie… but it’s also a dress! We can just imagine the scenario now:

“Oh, hi, come in! Can I take your sweatshirt?”

“Umm, no thanks.”

“Oh, come on, you must be warm: make yourself comfortable!”

“Umm, I’d maybe be a little too comfortable, if you know what I mean…”

“As in…?”

“I’d be sitting here in my underwear.”

“Oh. Gosh, is that the time…?”

  1. To be honest I’m actually alright with it.

If you wore a hoodie dress with some leggings/Skinny jeans and flats or trainers it would look alright.

Sorry Fashion Police but I love it.

  2. I really don’t like that. It looks horrible. The only time I would wear a hoody like that over a dress like that is if I was at home having a lazy day and I was cold… It is safe to say that I would certainly not buy the item with them both stuck together! It’s just so pointless!

  3. I think it looks fine. If it were worn properly, it’d be adorable. Also, I guess it’s more suited for the younger set. I’ve seen girls wear them in Hong Kong with tights, flats (like Jasmine mentioned) and those slouchy beanies and they look great.

  4. The entire thing looks like it belongs in Abercrombie & Fitch or some store like it. It’s something I think a girl who bleaches her hair to hell, tans till she’s orange, and just happens to be captain of the cheerleading team would wear. With hot pink flip-flops.

Of course, I have to deal with similar “outfits” on people practically every day, so I may be biased.

  5. i bet this will be a hit with lazy college girls. like it’s so hard to dress up in something other than a hoodie and jeans. now they get a skirt and hoodie combo! their lucky day.
