Oh, for goodness sake! We know it’s a nice gesture for clothes to stick together, through thick and thin, but this is starting to get ridiculous. It’s not THAT hard to put a shirt and a waistcoat together, after all, is it? Surely most people could be trusted to come up with this idea for themselves, without requiring New Look to stick the two items together for them? Surely?
Or, then again, maybe not…

Can you imagine the conversation?
“It’s too hot in here.”
“Take your waitcoat off then.”
“I can’t, it’s sewn onto my blouse.”
“Why did you do that?!”
“I didn’t – it was like that when I bought it.”
Silence.
This is the exact scenario that always runs through my head when I see these things! I’m guessing the argument in defence of the stuck-together crew is that it’s cheaper than buying a shirt AND a waistcoat, but I think I’d still rather pay a little bit more and have something that bit more versatile!
Not to mention less embarrassing if that conversation does come up.
It’s pretty though
…at least it’s cute.
It would be much easier to iron if it were two seperate pieces.
I can see how someone would buy this. In fact I could see myself buying one of these because it is cute.
well at least it looks good. i mean, if you didn’t know then…well…you wouldn’t know.
Well not only it is a stuck-together-piece, but I do actually think it’s a shirt dress too! Not quite a combination I’d buy!
I like it, it’s pretty, I’d definitely buy it.
Eh, better than most of the stuck together things.
