We haven't had a good old fashioned Star Style War for a while around here, so when we spotted Carmen Electra (left) and Taylor Swift (right) wearing the same dress, albeit not at the same time, we couldn't resist putting them in the ring and letting them duke it out. In a style sense, we mean.
The different climates our stars have had to contend with here may well skew the voting slightly: Carmen Electra is pictured attending New York Fashion Week, while Taylor Swift is in the balmier temperatures of California. Taylor also looks like the hem of her dress has been taken up: or perhaps Carmen's has been let down, who knows?
Which do you prefer, readers? Who do you think wore this floral dress better?

I personally prefer the dress on Taylor Swift.
It works way better with her body than with Carmens, and the shoes and her hairstyle don’t make it seem as old fashioned as it looks on Carmen.
I prefer it on Carmen. I love the coat she teamed it with and the boots.

I prefer it on Carmen, I think that Taylor’s is too short, small, etc…
I like Taylor’s. It could be a tiny bit longer, but it looks more in place with where she is–Carmen’s wearing her’s with snow in the background!
Also, Carmen’s print is lighter, and it looks a bit washed out and old…
I prefer it on Taylor! It looks really cute on her and I like her accesories.
I think Taylor’s body shape means the dress doesn’t do too much for her, body wise Carmen looks better. But I don’t think pretty floral dresses shouldn’t be teamed with wintery boots!
So better on Carmen’s bod, but Taylor’s accessories are better! I think these types of dresses generally suit a more curvy figure.
wow really? I dont agree with that – personally i think the dress does nothing for carmens body but really emphasises the little curves that taylor has..
I think its also alot shorter due to the fact that taylor is verry verry tall – dresses the length they apear on carmen look like mini dresses on me as my height is all in my legs..
But thats just my opinion
i think each gal styled the dress in a way that makes it more age-appropriate for them, but i think taylor wins this one hands-down. carmen electra is nearing age 40 (and not so gracefully, IMHO), and i just think this dress is a bit too juvenile for her.

Taylor. It’s a summer dress, which should be worn in summer weather. Plus, I love the red lips with it.
Totally agree!! It’s a summer dress, why tried to adapt to winter weather?
It looks a lot more fresh on Taylor.
Taylor styled it more effectively. The dress looks sunny and cheerful on her, whereas its just drab on Carmen.
T. Swift wins, hands down!
The nude shoes and yellow headband really let the dress shine. Plus the shorter hemline make the dress look fuller, which I think works better, style-wise.
i vote taylor. i don’t like the look of those boots with bare legs on carmen. she should have worn black tights or something. plus isn’t it snowing in nyc? what is she thinking?

I don’t think the hems were adjusted. The difference in length is the fact that Taylor is 5’11″ and Carmen is 5’3″.
Taylor anyday! The boots Carmen teamed it with don’t go. On the plus side, I love her coat!

oh I know! this look looks so cut on tay, where on cam, it just looks like a oldmom trying to be hip! But I have to give camren props, that is an awesome purple coat!

I vote for Taylor’s…I like the length of it. Carmen’s look is a little on the frumpy side and the purple coat bugs me…I think it should have been yellow or something.

Taylor looks GREAT in Cali beats Carmen in NY because there is a Correct Time and Place to wear a Summer Dress hence the name. If Carmen wore this dress in warmer weather maybe she would have been able to rock it with the right hair, shoes, etc.
The length difference is obviously because of their heights.
Taylor. Nice hair, necklace, shoes and bag. Goes great with the outfit.
Nice coat Carmen, too bad it has nothing to do with the dress and what the heck are those boots doing with that dress!?
