These Are Not Leggings

OK, we think there must be a spelling error in the product description on these: Shopbop has them down as “knot leggings”, but surely they must mean “not leggings”. Because they’re not, are they? Leggings, that is. Sure, they probably USED to be leggings. But when the terrible series of events that caused them to end up with NO KNEES happened, they ceased to be “leggings” as we know them, and became simple “crimes of fashion.” Sad.

Oh, and what would you wear with your Knot Leggings, readers? Why, you’d wear your peep-toe boots of course! OF COURSE.

  1. I just don’t understand this. It makes the model look like she is wearing cycling shorts with knee high socks… most bizarre. And for $234? No thank you.

  2. I can’t get over the footwear – they look like someone took a pair of ankle wellies and chopped the toes off. I wonder if they chose them to make the leggings look less stupid in comparison.

  3. I can’t imagine why they chose to expose the knees. In my opinion, knees are not the most attractive portion of anyone’s anatomy.

  4. I’m sure its a layering piece. For clubbing. Or that extremely rare individual with smokin’ hot knees for Amish XXX porn. But, you could take a pair of 10$ leggings and cut them into the same damn thing.

  5. People correct me if I’m wrong but god did give us all hands didn’t he?
And he provided scissors in the world didn’t he?

So why must we have people cut up leggings and knot them and sell them for ridiculously high prices when we can use our limbs and D.I.Y
