Like to wear your pyjamas in public? Tired of people looking at you like … well, like you just crawled out of bed? Don’t worry, folks, there is a solution, and it’s brought to you by the kind people at Pajamagram: introducing the PajamaJean!
These are exactly what they sound like: fleece-lined pj-bottoms that are designed to look like jeans, and yes, they were actually developed in order to cater to the needs of the growing number of “Pyjama People” who can be seen wandering around wearing the same clothes they slept in.
A good idea? Well, the company claim the product has been flying off their shelves, so obviously a lot of people think so. Will it just encourage the idea that there’s no need to get dressed in the morning, though? Time will tell on that one: if you’d like to buy yourself a pair of these, though, they retail for $59.95 and are available here. At least they look better than the Snuggie!

Fascinating idea! I don’t think I would buy any myself, but I think these could be a future university staple for students who are already traipsing to the bar, shops and everywhere in their PJs!

“Low rise and very fitted. Please consider ordering a size larger than you usually would.” This cannot end well…
I have to second this.

i saw the commercial on a blog but i fail to understand the logic.
- i don`t like jeans so much that i wish to sleep in them
- i don`t like pajamas that much to go out in public with them (who does!?)
for the price of pajama jeans i can buy a regular pair of jeans and a pajama.

i agree, i’ve bought ten dollar jeans at tjmaxx that look a billion times better than these stupid pajama jeans! Plus, i hate fleece pajamas, they give me too much electric static and get too hot in the middle of the night.

Well if i must see someone out in public wearing their nightclothes it could look much much worse than this.At least at a glance these do look like pants and i would then be able to get back to my shopping without a second look at the offender.
As someone who must endure Albertan winters, I fully support these. If I just need to take a quick walk up the street for something, I don’t want to put on real clothes for the whole ten minutes it will take me. However, for 60$, I’m sure I could make my own.
Well… you can go to Tesco then…

Good idea! I don’t wear my pajama outside but at least I won’t recognize when someone else does.
Oh wow, I’ve never seen anyone wearing pajamas out and I’ve no wish to be the first, but I want these. They just have to be super soft and warmer than any of my pants, and much better than going to the store in torn-up house jeans in -20 C weather.
And now I’ve started fantasizing about some sort of fleece overalls for winter. Again.
This is getting really ridiculous. Pj’s are NOT streetclothes, no way, no how, not now,or ever. I cannot believe someone would actually think of going further than their driveway in those, and now they come up with this. Oh well, I guess we can all just start wearing huge onesies and sleep in them, and go out in them…I am sure a lot of people would greet that.
these are awesome

I suppose they’d be useful on long haul flights where you need to be comfy and day appropriate but are gonna end up sleeping.
