For £705 / $1,102 we think we’d want the WHOLE sweater, not just the top half of it, and we don’t care if it IS knitted with unicorn hair.

Why does a swimsuit need a hood?
No, we’re being serious: WHY DOES A SWIMSUIT NEED A HOOD?
Unless you actually ARE Lady Gaga (or, OK, Rihanna), and are planning to wear your swimsuit for non-swimming related activities, WHY DOES IT NEED TO HAVE A HOOD?
We’re opening a new case-file on this item, which can be found at River Island. Your input would be appreciated.

We’ve finally reached the end of our latest Style Challenge, in which we asked you what you’d wear with a pair of Vivienne Westwood’s Rocking Horse shoes.
This was probably our toughest challenge yet, so first of all, our thanks to everyone who took part, and put together an outfit to wear with these! You’ll find the top three outfits, as voted by you, under the jump: do they inspire you to actually wear the shoes, though?

(L-R leather biker bra, Browns; polka-dot bra top, Miss Selfridge)
We’ve already been seeing a lot of longline bras hitting the lingerie departments of our favourite stores in recent months, but this summer you can expect to see a lot more of the humble bra top, and we mean that literally, because they’re being tipped as the next big summer trend.
Yes, UK Vogue tells us that the only thing to be seen in this summer will be a longline bra, worn either over t-shirts, under cardigans or on their own with “just a peep” of stomach on display.
So you could wear them like this:

Celebrities including Kate Moss, Geri Halliwell, Eva Herzigova and more took to the catwalk in London this week in a charity fashion show organised by Naomi Campbell to raise money for Haiti. Great cause, obviously, although quite why there had to be so many shresses is slightly beyond us!
Take a look at the gallery below for some images from the show, and look out for Kate and Naomi paying tribute to Alexander McQueen in clothes from his final collection.

We don’t know about you, readers, but we think we liked the world better when it didn’t have “balloon jeans” in it. In fact, we’d probably like it even more if there was no possibility of the word “balloon” EVER being used to describe an item of clothing. Ever.
We are reassured, however, by the fact that almost every time we identify a crime of fashion these days, the model is generally ALSO wearing a pair of peep-toe boots with it. It’s like a kind of code used by stylists to indicate that there’s a fashion crime being committed – other than the peep toe boots themselves, that is.
Also: we’re starting to feel that there isn’t an item of clothing in the world that can’t be made worse by the simple addition of a pair of peep toe boots. We think we need to move these items much further up our Hit List in light of this..

This bag will be either super-cute or unbearably child-like, depending on your perspective. If you’re leaning towards the former point of view, however, it’s £235 at Far Fetch. Enjoy!
