It Crawled from the Deep: Marchesa tiered silk-organza dress

THIS is what we were talking about yesterday when we mentioned "jellyfish fashion". And look, we love jellyfish as much as the next woman (Which is to say, "Not much at all, really."), but wearing them, however, is another matter altogether, and given that this dress looks like a jellyfish that just ate a bridesmaid, we're going to pass. If you absolutely love it, however, better call the bank manager: it's £4,628 at Net-a-Porter.

I actually got stung really badly by a jellyfish and this dress is making me feel post-traumatically stressed out.

For some reason, the flesh color makes it extra creepy.

Wow, this dress is a cruel caricature of a jellyfish!

Awww, I kinda think it’s pretty. But I also think jellyfish are elegant and fascinating creatures. I wish it had straps though, I think that would have possibly brought it back to looking more like a dress than a sea creature. Also, strapless tops do not agree with large jumblies.

  • i kinda think it looks ok. maybe not as many layers, butt i dont mind the color

Well, I know what I’ll be wearing once great Cthulhu awakens from his slumber and starts devouring mankind :D There is NO way I could be mistaken for anything but a sea creature in this *giggle*
