Fashion Police for the Boys: Isabel Mastache’s Penis Pants

OK. We get that  Isabel Mastache’s designs are “avant-garde”, and therefore not really designed to be worn by the average man in the street, and we think that’s a very good thing indeed, because…

Yeah. You can take “avant garde” a bit TOO far, can’t you?

  1. HAHAHAHA!

I seriously, really laughed out loud when I saw this. From the title, I was expecting, like… A sketch on the pants? The word ‘penis’ on the front like those track pants with ‘juicy’ on the ass… or, like, a bulgy bit like they have on some men’s underwear. I was NOT expecting that and just had to laugh.

I wonder how much they had to pay him to put those on, let alone walk OUT wearing them.

  2. Somehow I managed to skip over the word ‘penis’ in the title, and read ‘Mastache’s’ as ‘moustache’. I clicked the link thinking “who would put a moustache on a pair of trousers?”

…as you might guess, it was a wee bit of a shock to see this. That’ll teach me to skim read, huh?

  3. There’s something I love about this outfit. In an absolutely crazy way. Maybe it’s the heart on the jacket! And the fake arm! And everything! It’s amazing she would think all that up and put it in a SINGLE outfit.

  4. I feel so deeply sorry for that model…. or as sorry as you can feel for someone who gets idolised for a living. The odd fruit-like fake balls, the odd robotic arm, the tea cosy that looks like it was knitted by a granny with botched cataract surgery… poor boy.
