Balenciaga is clearly a hard habit to break for Jennifer Connelly: she's no longer the official face of the brand, but she's still wearing it, as evidenced by this photo of her arriving at Letterman last night in a fringed Balenciaga skirt and wooden heeled shoes. Jennifer can almost always be relied on to wear something a little bit different, and while we're not huge fans of the individual pieces here, we do like the overall look.

Like it but, the shoes need to be a tad bit darker in shade to fit in.
The sleeves need to be longer (or even shorter for proper 3/4 length). This looks like she has grown out of it or bought a size too small.
I like this look. The skirt is fab!. But I agree with SnapandPrint, the shoes do need to be darker to fit in.
The shoes are a mess. Am I the only person that finds open toed shoes with tights to be outright horrid? Because the idea just makes me twitch.
I’m right there with you. No one should ever see the toes of socks or stockings. It’s socks with sandals, no matter how expensive and chic said sandals are.

I agree with everyone else. There is a hint of discord among the shoes and the rest of the outfit. Very cute apart from those shoes.
Hmmm. Now I see why the outfit seems off. It’s the shoes. The rest of the outfit is great.
totally agree ’bout the jacket , the sleeve length definitely requires an adjustment
and the shoes look horrible , the color the design , it really doesnt match with the rest of the outfit
