Looks like Natasha Pavlovich is absolutely determined to make people look at her crotch at the annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards. Last year we pulled her up on a “highly visible underwear” offence, but there was no danger of that happening again this year, because this year she decided to go with no underwear at all: and to flout the fact in an artfully revealing dress. Well, we guess that’s ONE cure for VPL, isn’t it?
Is no underwear better than visible underwear? It’s a tough one, but we reckon this kind of look is only for those who don’t mind a LOT of attention…

Well. That’s… interesting. We guess this follows on from the hilarious “Look! Someone’s grabbing my boobs!” sweaters and shirts that started to pop up last year. Hmm. It would seem that the “hands” movement is more advanced than we’d at first suspected, although this example isn’t quite as bad as some we’ve arrested: at least the belt on this skirt does look more like a pair of gloves tied around the waist than a pair of actual hands. That has to be a good thing, no? No?

The Fashion Police would like to say a very special “thank you” this week to Amber Rose, who’s been helping us with a number of our enquiries: we’re sure you’ll remember how Amber helped us answer the question “Who the hell would wear THAT jacket?” yesterday, and now she’s also been of great help in solving the mysterious case of the Louis Vuitton mink bum bag/fanny pack.
We had to delve deep into our archive to find the original file on this one. Only the most dedicated of readers will remember the original article on this, from December 2006, but Amber obviously has a long memory, and has been patiently waiting for just the right occasion to wear this bad boy.
We originally wanted to speak to this item in relation to three separate allegations:
1. That is was a bum bag
2. A MINK bum bag
3. That it is covered in Louis Vuitton’s distinctive logo, which some people would argue is more or less the same as having “Fashion Victim” stamped all over your clothes.
Now that we’ve had the chance to review the new evidence supplied by Amber Rose however, we’d like to add a forth charge:
4. It is freaking HUGE. Seriously, we had no idea. It’s like the size of a normal bag, only you wear it around your waist. We guess some people might find that handy, but do you, readers? Do you?

This outfit is a little more severe than we’re used to seeing on Peaches Geldof, but it’s actually one of our favourite looks on her for a while. Peaches was arriving at the South Bank Awards in London, and we like the way the flowers at the neckline and on her shoes soften up what could’ve been a rather school-marmish look overall.

Fearne Cotton is the darling of the UK’s fashion press (She’s a TV presenter, in case you’re wondering), so it’s not unusual to see her out and about in something like this bright red jumpsuit. Now, it’s no secret that The Fashion Police are no friends of jumpsuits. Sure, there are a few we don’t actively hate, but only a few, and the problem even with those is that they can be hard to wear, and if you’re caught at the wrong angle, can be unflattering to even the most fabulous of figures. Is that the case for Fearne? Well, as much as we dislike jumpsuits, we actually think that if we were forced to wear one, this one may not be too bad: we do love the top half, and it’s very much in keeping with Fearne’s style.
