It’s been a long time since our last Style Challenge, so we thought we’d start off this year with what we think is a fairly easy one!
Short-shorts have been popping up all over the place this winter, and we’ve had a few emails now from people wondering how to wear this traditionally summery item in the colder months of the year. We thought we’d let our readers answer that one for us, and we’ve picked out these cute little polka dot shorts from Miss Selfridge for you to play with.
Your challenge is to use Polyvore to build a winter-appropriate outfit around these, and post a link to your set in our comments section, so take a look under the jump to read the rules, and we’ll publish the resulting outfits next week!

These images from the Zac Posen for Target collection have just been released, and we have to say, we think this is is the best of the Go International lines so far. The dresses in particular are absolutely adorable, and we’re weeping tears of frustration here at the thought that we can’t have them! If you can, April 25th is the date to put in your diary, as that’s when these will go on sale.

Pale dresses seem to be enjoying their moment in the red carpet spotlight this week, and our officers have spotted a few of them already. Here’s Rachel Bilson in a pale grey tulle dress, which has some beautiful detailing on it: take a look under the jump to see a close-up picture of the bodice.

Glee’s Dianna Agron has had a busty week, with the Celebrity Spy detectives spotting her out and about at a host of different parties and events: the price (or perhaps the pay-out, depending on how you look at it) for being in a hit TV show, we guess!
Here she is wearing a vintage style peach dress in satin, with a lace overlay. Now, the occurrence of the words “peach” and “satin” in the same sentence usually out us straight onto Hideous Bridesmaid Dress Alert, but thankfully the shape of this dress is nothing like some of the awful 80s concoctions we’re thinking off, and instead has a nice, 50s vibe about it. We think Diana looks perfectly sweet here, but what do you think? Tell us in the poll below!

Look, Colette, you can call it a “waist bag” and charge $300 for it all you like, but WE’LL still call it a crime of fashion and throw it into the ’80s throwback’ section of the Fashion Police jail, got that?
We sincerely hope this design is ironic, and not a sign that bum bags/ fanny packs/ whatever you want to call them are about to make a return to mainstream fashion, although at that price you’d have to be taking your irony pretty seriously. If you do, you can buy this here.

We’re going back to black for this week’s Handbag of the Week, with this Sara Berman satchel, which has been sprinkled with studs. It makes for a nice, wintry look on a bag that’s also lined with leopard print: a nice extra touch!
