Don’t Wear it to the Airport: Ashish spiked denim jacket

spiked denim jacket Dont Wear it to the Airport: Ashish spiked denim jacket

This item was reported by Eva, who points out that it’s probably illegal in several countries.

We don’t know about that, but we DO know that you couldn’t expect too many hugs while you were wearing it. And that makes us sad.

It’s by Ashish, and it’s £810 at Browns Fashion. We’d want those spikes to be solid platinum for that.

  1. It looks like something out of the closet of a 16-year old metalhead somewhere in the 80′s… before he put the patches on.

  2. I actually found a blog on google of a guy who made a jacket that looked exactly like this, studs and all. And he got a used jacket and studs from the craft store, probably cost a 1/20 of this thing. It’s funny how many “edgy” things in the fashion world really take no effort to make (or in the case of ripped clothes, destroy).

  3. Perhaps it could be used for self-defense? It’d be hard for an attacker to get a good grip on a torso covered in spikes, and all a person would have to do is swing their arms to cause serious damage. Can you imagine what those sleeves could do when filled with a solid arm, swinging at full force?

  4. I actually really likeit :D
Oh and yes, I don’t like it when people step into my personal bubble >:(
    This is rather good protection
