We’ve discussed the old “never mix black and navy” rule before here, with most people agreeing that’s it’s much too old-fashioned to stand up in today’s fashionable world. Angelina Jolie clearly agrees, seen here wearing a navy dress and black boots while out with Brad Pitt in NYC this week. We suspect some of you will feel Angelina’s taken a bit of a beating from the “boring” stick here, but the outfit is very “her”: she has her style and she likes to stick to it. Is that a good thing or a bad thing, though, we wonder?

And it looks like her husband is wearing brown with black, and guess what: both look fine to me!
Although I don’t personally love the combo neither do I hate it. Does hair fall under the category of fashion or personal? If it’s fashion I would like to say that I think it’s a fashion crime for Brad Pitt to sport that fu manchu scraggly thing on his face.
Ok, but can Brad PLEASE shave that thing?
