Oh, look! It’s the opera! And it’s being performed on your crotch! That’s just… just… actually, we’ll be honest: we just don’t know WHAT to make of this one. What do YOU make of it, readers? It’s 945 euros at the D&G online store if you do…
Dolce & Gabbana’s ‘Opera’ dress keeps all eyes on your crotch

Actually, I like it the idea very much. But I think that it’d be better, if they switch the opera-performance to your breasts and the advertisement to your crotch. I don’t think this is a crime of fashion. If there was a fashionshow, with every dress exposing a performance of maybe a Russian ballet, or something like that… I would buy it all. I love it! xoxo
Wearing this could launch a thousand suggestive comments.
I believe they have that La Traviata poster in a T-shirt form also. If they weren’t around 100 Eur I would go for that one and the Walkyrie one.
I like the concept, but there is just no way I would wear that or anything that made people study that area. Just put it on the back! It avoids the embarrassing dilemma of dying to figure out what is on a persons clothes, but feeling rude at staring at their breasts, rear, or umm…crotch.
i would be unable to resist saying “are ya glad to see me or is that an opera in your skirt”
I like the concept. I think it would work if the skirt were knee-length so the opera was playing on one’s thighs instead….
i actually really like this dress, but that sai,d i would feel awkward knowing there is an “open curtain” framing my crotch. all sorts of wrong messages there.
this would be much less provocative without the open curtain, thats what creates the inappropriate symbolism.
I love the concept (possibly because I’m a huge opera and musical theatre nerd). But the placement of the scene is just wrong.
I’ll be waiting to see Katy Perry wear this.
I think it’s quite pretty! A little strange, but pretty! Although I do agree that it really draws the eye right there….Maybe not the best thing if you have larger hips!
EW.
That’s just sick.
At first I thought it was a commercial for a vodka bottle or something..
